Add RSS Subscription to your blog

This is very important to let your friends, colleagues and whoever is entrusted in your blog stay updated with your last articles, and a very good way to let them come back to your blog and read something or check something out. It’s like giving the capability to whoever needs to follow your blog to have it as soon as you publish it.

First login to your blog and go to setting

Change your allow Blog Feeds to Full (read the detail form more information), and click on the link FeedBurner, login there with same Google account and add your blog URL to the box, click NEXT

Or Go to Google FeedBurner (www.FeedBurner.com), it’s another Google service, enter your same credentials and login.

You need to enter your Full Blog URL in the text box and select Next, as below

Select the Atom or the RSS option (Atom is supported by Google), then select the other steps as in below image,

If you have made more than one blog you need to select the blog first from My Feeds.

Then you need to select the Publicize from the Tab as below:

And then from the side menu on the left select (Chicklet Chooser), I prefer to select the first default icon because it’s well known and everybody will now it by default.

Scroll down and select Blogger from the drop down list and then select the Button GO in front of the drop down, it will guide you on adding the blog image on your blog

Note: By the way there is a lot of very useful and interesting features with FeedBurner so if you have some extra time, go and play with them.

Select your blog if you have more than one, and I prefer to remove the title (RSS is well known and you can benefit from that space for something else. Press (ADD WIDGET)

After saving, that’s it, open your blog and you will find the RSS image there and everybody can subscribe to it.

If you like to move the location of the RSS, you will need to use your blog-design layout and move it wherever you like.
